O.D. into a desired part. The O-rings or seals are fed by a vibratory feeder bowl into a track where they are positioned onto an installation mandrel. The operator then lightly pushes the part into the mandrel and the O-ring or seal is automatically installed at the specified location

2.25” O.D. into a desired part. The O-rings or seals are fed by a vibratory feeder bowl into a track where they are positioned onto an installation mandrel. The operator then lightly pushes the part into the mandrel and the O-ring or seal is automatically installed at the specified location.

Automated Industrial Systems has now developed a machine that can place
O-Rings inside components or assemblies. The O-Ring can be inserted into an
O-Ring groove or pushed into a cylinder.
The O-Rings are bowl fed to a magazine where they are picked up by a transfer mandrel. This mandrel is inserted into the part where the seal is released.
