Stamps
The process of engraving stamps and inserts that CMT uses assures for a longer stamp life. These stamps and inserts are made from select tool steel and carefully heat treated. They stand up best under high production marking conditions.

Measuring Letters& Figures
The character size is measured from the tallest part of the stamp die. When the stamp die indents into the metal the mark will be larger.The most common error is to overestimate the character size.
To order individual LETTERS and FIGURES add suffix of actual letter or figure to part number
To BLANK SPACERS add suffix of "-00" to part number
To order PUNCTUATION add suffix from table below to part number
